When it bonds to the substrate the structure is stiffened, making it a stronger, hard floor with compressive strengths starting at 2,500 psi up to over 4,500 psi. Our flowable floor underlayment is specifically designed to meet the needs of radiant heating systems.

Thermal mass encases all of the tubing in a crack-resistant, noncombustible material. Some radiant systems install under plywood subfloors, but plywood is nearly four times more insulative than our thermal mass, resulting in reduced heat transfer. Thus, the thermal mass does its work above the subfloor more efficiently.
